Alberto is a young and lively, three year old, black male Italian Greyhound. He had a check up on his physical condition, received all his shots, a microchip, and has been neutered. He has some behavioral issues that he still needs a little help with; namely socialization skills & housetraining. Alberto appears to want attention and is constantly dancing around you, but he is hesitant about approaching closer than an inch or two from your finger tips. If you reach for him he will jump backwards; if approached he will cower down and look for an exit. He is fearful about being touched or picked up but will tolerate it. If you put him down he will head for the nearest hiding place. Alberto is a handsome little guy and very thin. He has a good appetite and will consume anything that is placed before him. He will need a lot of personal attention and human interaction, as he seems to lack a need to bond to someone. He was probably separated from his mother too early and had minimal contact with people. He interacts with the other Italians to a point and wants to be with them, but doesn?t seem to grasp the idea of playing together.
