B/W Minnie "the mouse" Chihuahua for Adoption in Boise, Idaho For Sale

This Minnie is no mouse despite having her roots near Disney Land in California.

Minnie is a 5 year old Chihuahua who found herself homeless in California and decided to hitch a ride with some other doggie friends to find her fortune in Idaho. Fuzzy Pawz Rescue is hoping to help her strike gold with a forever family to call her own.
This cutie is very sweet but she does take a few days to warm up and trust new people; once she does watch out as she will be your BEST friend forever and will shower you with face kisses.
Minnie is a hearty little dog; not too skittish or fragile. She's adorable too, and has one ear up and one ear that flops down. Minnie is not really needy like a lot of little dogs; she likes to be a lap dog, but she also likes just laying at the other end of the couch. She burrows in the covers and wants to sleep at the very foot of the bed; but she prefers to lie on the back of chairs and the couches and watch people. She's quiet and does not really bark much even when other dogs are carrying on.
She has a TON of energy and is very busy. Busy, busy, busy. Not in a bad way. She needs a daily (or two really) walk to ensure she is properly stimulated. Exercise and play will really help her shine, as will making sure she stays properly socialized with other people. She does like to play with people she knows and trusts, and is great with cats and dogs.
As with a lot of dogs who have a really rough start to life Minnie can and will cop a ?little dog attitude? if/when she feels threatened. She will need an owner who will be able to make Minnie feel that she doesn?t need to control her environment; that you will take care of everything.
She enjoys running too, and we think would be a great little running partner for short distances. She is not completely house trained, but she is crate trained. It takes her a while to go outside and you have to go out with her to make sure she goes. In the cold weather she will not be too eager to go out on her own. With a feeding and potty schedule and a wee bit of patience she will figure it out.
Minnie is currently living with 2 dogs and 2 cats and does fine with all of them; however we think she secretly would like to be someone?s one and only.
Because she can be a little untrusting at first, a home without children is best.
Minnie is microchipped, spayed, vaccinated and will have a dental done before adoption.
