Silver City Idaho Placer Gold Claims in Boise, Idaho For Sale

Tonya Lyne/Karen Denise Placer and Load group (Unpatented). Two Association placer claims and 3 load claims. These are the claims currently featured in the ICMJ Mining Journal article "A Return to Silver City, Idaho", July xxxx. We have pulled about 10-15 ounces of fine placer gold off of these claims in the past 5-6 years, primarily with a sluice, while on extended weekends. We generally worked 5-10 days per year on the claims, and opened up 3 good pockets of gold.
These claims sit on War Eagle Mountain, below the Oro Fino and Poorman Mines, and have been one of the areas best producers over the last few years.
Silver City was founded in xxxx when placer gold was found in Jordan Creek. By xxxx, attention had turned to the gold veins on Florida and War Eagle Mountains. Silver City boomed. It was named Silver City because of the large amount of silver contained in the gold (officially making it electrum). The town prospered through the xxxx's, then went into decline. By WW2, the town gave up the ghost, and the copper wires and steel rails were pulled out to supply the war with metal. In the xxxx, there was renewed interest in the town and the old hotel was restored. You can now stay in the hotel, get a drink or meal at the bar, or just come in to get warm and look at all of the antiques and souvenirs. Pats What Not Shop across the street also sells arts and crafts, as well as camping supplies. It is a great town to visit. There is even free camping at the south end of town.
Mining has also had a resurgence, with Silver Falcon Mining currently working high on War Eagle, both processing old dumps and trying to re-open some of the old load mines (including the Sinker Tunnel).
Placer claims now cover the creek and gold is again being mined. This is claim still has what appears to be un-worked areas, and the chance of more rich pockets is good.
